 Apprenticeships for NV Energy
(formerly Sierra Pacific Power Company)
What is unique about the NV Energy apprenticeships?
NV
Energy offers a number of apprenticeship programs in northern Nevada
to existing employees. If an individual already works at the utility,
they may apply for a position that requires an apprenticeship. If
accepted, the employee then begins their apprenticeship. Therefore,
to get into an NV Energy apprenticeship, individuals must first apply
to and be accepted as an NV Energy employee. Recruitment from outside
the company occasionally takes place when there are no qualified internal
applicants. These programs are only for NV Energy in northern Nevada.
